[**Results are as follows: Rose Fernandez and Tony Evers will be on the April ballot. Interesting that Van Mobly, who had the most money and was the #2 in money spent on the race, was not successful.**]

Locally the vote tomorrow is only about the State Superintendent of Schools.  La Crosse has a primary for Mayor, and my apologies for not knowing other primary races that might be on the table in other areas of the Kickapoo.

The candidates follow, but it is always interesting to see who has the money and where it is coming from, so click here to get that information. Below I have snipped out a few summaries and videos as available, and posted the debate they had at the very end. Not sure we all have an hour to spare to hear them out, but it is there if you are wanting more. The Wisconsin Vote website has much information on any State-wide race--find that here

The Candidates (non partisan):
Tony Evers:

Rose Fernandez: Talking Change

Lowell E. Holtz:
We no longer have the luxury of conducting “business as usual” when we are faced with the changing needs of our workforce, our students, and our communities. The good news is that we have some of the best teachers in the nation and some of the strongest business leaders in the world who are more than capable of meeting the challenge of redesigning education for the global economy. My positive experience as a principal and superintendent in small rural communities as well as large urban districts has given me the tools necessary to bring about positive change. Our children need someone who can bring business leaders and educational leaders together.

Success is a direct result of the team with which we work. If we strive to form a strong team our children will be the winners.

Van Mobley
His website is not responding...there was an interview on Wisconsin Public Television's "Here and Now", find that here

Todd Price: Put Public back in Public schools

Hour long debate they all participated in:
