Finally, it feels like Spring, and we are "waking up" with new programs at the Library!

On Tuesday the 14th at 7pm, a local Soldiers Grove family will share their recent adventures in Guatemala.  Here's the story from this week's Independent-Scout.

WINTER ADVENTURES IN GUATEMALA

Ever wished you could go South for the winter?  The Dworschack family did just that during the heart of our recent sub-zero season.  They'll be coming to the Soldiers Grove Library on Tuesday, April 14th at 7pm to share their three month experience in Guatemala.  We'll learn what a "typical day" is like in the town of Nebaj, where the family volunteered in a school.  We'll see how they found out first-hand about the culture of Central America, with pictures, stories and a demonstration of back strap weaving!
The presentation is free and open to everyone.  Jim & Linda Dworschack live with their children, Mattias & Willa in rural Soldiers Grove.
