Marjorie Rehbach (the author) and Christine Nietert (the illustrator), both Americans, met in a small community in Franconia, Germany and decided to collaborate on "A Maypole Dream." They are both idealists and would like to freely give their gifts and let money flow naturally to help worthwhile projects. Proceeds from the sales of this book will be used to support ongoing work in puppetry arts. Marjorie has been a Waldorf teacher and lived for several years in Camphill Communities. She and her husband have 2 grown children who brighten their lives with occasional visits. Christine has been raising 3 lovely daughters, renovating old buildings and working as a freelance artist. To all those who love the mystery of the seasons, we hope this book brings you joy!
