Magic, Juggling, Storytelling with Bob Kann
The article from this week's Independent follows. Cheers! ~Cele ************* Kids of all ages are invited to a lively summer morning program at the library called "MaGicEnergy". This show combines a strong environmental and energy message with juggling, humor, magic, special effects, storytelling,and audience interaction. MagGicEnergy was created by Madison gas and Electric Company in collaboration with performing artist, Bob Kann, a Madison-based educator and entertainer. We Need Energy is the major theme, demonstrating the ways responsible energy use affects environmental quality, in a fast-paced, fun-filled performance. Come to the library and check out some of our new books, movies, magazines, and take a look at the cool new tables built by Joe Schwarte for our high-speed, public access computers! (There's still one of the old computer desks up for sale, a real bargain!) The magic show will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at 10am, free of charge, with refreshments!
